Here are a couple of web links that we talked about in class today. Remember, it's probably best to copy then and then paste them into a different browser window, rather than clicking on them directly. Apparently, a SD43 logon screen sometimes pops up when you click directly. I don't know why, but it does.

This second link is a commercial link and it looks like all they're trying to do is sell pencils. If you dig a little deeper, though, there many links to interesting details about the production of pencils, and quite a lot of history as well.
Homework today: finish off the spelling worksheet. Also, report cards went home today. Please remember to sign and return the card which has the description of the letter grades on it, as well as the envelope. The report itself, along with any other ESL or LA reports, is yours to keep.
